Preparation
The preparation room or 'prep room' is a central part of the practice
because many procedures carried out on in-patients either occur there
or start off there.

The room's name comes from its function in preparing animals for procedures - be that radiography, surgery, blood sampling, bandaging, examination or medication. Animals undergoing any kind of procedure requiring anaesthesia will go through this room for the induction of anaesthesia.

Essential equipment

Our own on-site laboratory ensures fast and efficient analysis of blood samples. This is extremely useful to us in making diagnoses, but also in ensuring that patients are fit to undergo anaesthesia for elective procedures.

Care of instruments

The prep room is also used to prepare the instruments for operations.

7 days a week, Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 7.00pm, Saturdays 9.00am until 4.00pm and Sundays and Bank Holidays 10.30am until 12.00noon.

Branch Walthamstow

Our branch in Walthamstow is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 1.00pm and then 2.00pm until 7.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am until 12.00noon then 2.00pm until 4.00pm
